President's Message - January 2008

Norman Salisbury
President

Dear Fellow Owners and Residents:

On behalf of your Board of Trustees, I would sincerely like to thank all those who showed your appreciation to our wonderful staff by contributing so generously to the Holiday gratuity fund. Your contributions significantly exceeded that of last year and shows them how much we appreciate their efforts and hard work.

I would like to extend a special thanks to those of our staff who work hard sometimes behind the scenes without a lot of the attention and thanks we frequently give to our security guards and maintenance staff. Our housekeeping staff works hard continually vacuuming and cleaning all of our common areas and often times perform the unenviable task of cleaning up after residents who have become ill or have other "accidents". They do so without complaint. My personal heartfelt thanks goes to them for their dedication and work.

In that regard, I would like to remind all residents, once again, to please be conscientious and take care of our common facilities. Over the Holidays, some residents used the Community Room for functions without cleaning up afterwards under the mistaken assumption that "housekeeping" was responsible for it. We also frequently find litter, candy wrappers, and pop cans in the garage and other common areas. Some residents apparently are not aware when they play their audio systems or TV's at high levels, that others live above, below and on each side who also can hear through the walls. I'm simply asking that we all pay attention to the fact that we live in a Community in close proximity and share our facilities. All of us here are family. American Towers is our own home. Please treat each other and the facilities with the respect each deserves.

We have a few projects currently underway in the garage and on the North Roof. There will be more of these in the upcoming year as we will be refurbishing and upgrading several of our common areas. Our mechanical systems are all performing perfectly and we are expanding our vision to encompass some of the decorating and furnishings of our amenity areas. We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation as we move through these various projects.

Thank you again, we wish all a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

Sincerely,

Norman J. Salisbury
President
