President's Message - August 2001

Tom Halleran
President

Hi neighbors,

Have you noticed that the summer is in full force and that the roof of the North and South Tower are making great progress in the beautification project? I want each of you to use this great asset to the fullest level of enjoyment. I caution you to take extra care in making your way around any construction that is continuing over the next few weeks until the project is completed.

I want to extend my personal thanks, and I know I speak for many of you, to Ron Davis for his years of service as the Chairman of the Building Committee. Under his leadership we have achieved a great deal in the area of keeping our services at the necessary levels to make our living experience and investment in our home a reliable one.

I am happy to inform you that a long time resident of the Towers and devoted member of the Building Committee with Ron will accept my offer to replace Ron Davis as the Chairman. From this time on Norm Salisbury will provide effort as the Chairman. In addition, Mike Gravitz has agreed to join this committee. Thanks to Mike as well.

It is likely that by the time you read this newsletter we will have welcomed a new member to the Board of Trustees. A special thank you goes to Betsy Bradley for her efforts during the last year as she fulfilled the unfinished term of Dr. Pace. We appreciate every effort she put forth on behalf of her neighbors in this role.

It is very important that we all assist our Security Staff by keeping them aware of any skateboarding that we observe on our property. Please bring this type of activity to the attention of the on-duty staff at the time you observe it. The safety of those involved is of the highest importance, but liability issues should also be kept in mind. As property owners we can help control insurance costs if we keep our eyes open for potential hazards that may impact our rates.

Best Wishes,

Tom Halleran,
