President's Message - December 2004

Norman Salisbury
President

Dear Fellow Owners:

I would like to take this opportunity to wish a Happy Holiday Season to all American Towers Residents and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to all as well.

I would like to thank all who contributed to the employee gratuity fund. It was very successful. I and the other Trustees felt that it was important for us to provide and opportunity and the means for all residents to shoe their appreciation to our loyal and dedicated staff through these gratuity donations. Again, thank you all for your show of support for our great staff.

I would also like to offer a simple word of caution when using real evergreen trees in your decorating. They are very real fire hazards and the consequences of a fire here at American Towers would be very devastating. Also, please be very careful when using candles and do not leave them unattended. In June of this year we had a fire from a scented candle that was left unattended. It had burned down and broken the glass container. Even though the smoke detectors alerted our Security Guards who were able to extinguish the flames quickly, the incident caused many thousands of dollars in damage to the home, and created an extremely dangerous and risky situation. Please use extreme caution with your trees, lighting and candles. Your neighbors live very close to you and innocent neglect can have very serious consequences.

Happy Holidays to all and thank you again for your support and contributions to our great community.

Sincerely,

Norman J. Salisbury
President
