Update on Recent State of Utah Water Rights Mailing

We recently received information from Blake Bingham, the Division of Water Rights engineer managing this water rights audit. His explanation is that the Division is undergoing a water rights audit for City Creek canyon water. The audit entails court action to establish clear title, or to remove invalid title to those water rights. In that regard, the mailings are mandatory to all property owners within the City Creek subdivision. The Division shows no existing water rights for American Towers.

Board/Owner Meeting

There will be an open Board Meeting on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 7:00 pm in the Community Room. The Board anticipates approving a new Rule to enforce the prohibition on short-term or transient rentals contained in section 5.03 of our CC&R's. Some Owners have recently been doing overnight rentals through an online service called Airbnb.

By unanimous written consent, the Trustees have elected Dr. David Parker to serve as President of the Board, Sandra Sterns to serve as Residential Vice President, Melyn Campbell to serve as Treasurer, and Lance Williams to serve as Secretary. Heather Bowen will continue to serve as Commercial Vice President.

February 10, 2016 - Owner Update

Dear Fellow Owners:

On February 5, 2016, we received written notice from Bret Marshall and Tony Mejia that they are resigning their positions, effective immediately, as Trustees of American Towers Owners Association. Subsequently, on February 8, 2016 the remaining Residential Trustees, in accordance with sections 4.10 and 4.11 of the Bylaws and by unanimous written consent, appointed Lance Williams to serve as Residential Trustee for the remaining term of Bret Marshall, and Melyn Campbell to serve as Residential Trustee for the remaining term of Tony Mejia.

The final results of the August 8, 2015 election for Trustee are as follows:

An update review of the redecorating project will be discussed.

2nd Floor Amenities Closed for Remodeling

All of the Second Floor amenities will be closed on Monday, June 8, 2015 for remodeling and redecorating.
Although the rooftops are open for use, please be aware that additional furniture and grills are on order and will be installed shortly.

Decorating Update

Dear Fellow Homeowners:

This is a short note to update you on the progress of our redecorating project.

First and foremost, we now have a signed contract with Fine Construction and have started making disbursements of funds to start ordering supplies and materials.

The financing of the loans for the assessment (for those Owners that elected to pay the assessment over time) and financing for the LED project (which will be paid by savings on our electrical bill) have been approved by Zions Bank and we will request funding from the loans shortly.
